The questions came out of nowhere,

Where is he?

What happened to him?

Is he alright?

And every time,

I got a smile on my face,

Because I got a chance to talk about you.


He went on a backpacking trip across Europe.

He went to meditate in the Himalayas.

He has gone to discover himself.

He had a breakthrough,

So he's locked himself inside his room.

He’s preparing to go to space.


These are some of the things,

I manage to say.

And each time the answers get wilder and crazier.

But they are always farther away from the truth.

Because I lost my sense of reality,

When I lost you.
