You said you’re scared to lose me

But you didn’t even have guts to choose me

You said you’ll always be there to hold my hand

But you fade like name written on sand

You said you can’t get over my voice

Then how does it get replaced by the buzzy noise

You said you would hug me all through night

But again..we can’t even get over our morning fight

You said you would be there to calm me down

But you were the one who haunted and left me in unnerving town

You said you can’t go a day without my next

Well, I didn’t even realize that I was your “THANK YOU NEXT”

You said I’m the prettiest girl you’ve ever seen

But was that phrase you actually mean??

You said you’ll not leave me even in my wildest dreams

But clenching the rope of our bond left me with scars and stilly

screams

You said no one can take my place

Well.. You’ll re-tag it all by yourself was silent I guess

You said you’d love to get lost in my iridescent eyes

And sometimes I think and wonder how fool was I to believe all

those pretty lies..!
