My relationship to you is one of a kind!

With you quite deeply I feel entwined!


I find solace in you in times that are tough,

I find a friend in you when the going gets rough!


You sit by my side and hear me out,

You reflect, and reciprocate,

And clear my doubts!





You calm my cranky mind,

And soothe my wounded heart,

Without you,

Oh Dear Poetry!

I might have just fallen apart…


I walk through life,

Tightly holding your hand,

So I don’t lose my balance,

When life doesn’t go as planned!


Dear Poetry,

With you by my side,

I am ready to ride,

The most adventurous ride,

Called ‘Life!’
