Dear Master

How can I not believe in you?

When I have heard tales of your sagacity.

The whispers of your triumphs

and the memories of your glory.

I’ve listened to the tales of many.

One does not believe in you.

While someone asks “ who are you?”

They are those who have everything,

and their days pass by,

like the songs the birds sing.

But me, dear Master,

who believes in the life you gave,

suffers deep,

like coffin in the grave.

So tell me,

is my belief worthy of your hand?

If so, then please reveal,

Why have you let me loose,

in this barren land?

Why do you make me surrender

to my fears and put me to trials?

Is it to test my faith?

Or refine my soul?

To make me stronger,

to make me whole?

Or is it to remind me,

that you are always near?

That, in the darkness

you are the light that I hold dear?

Perhaps in the darkness,

lies a hidden path.

A way to find the strength

that will forever last.

Maybe in the silence,

I’ll hear your gentle voice.

Guiding me through the shadows,

to a brighter, wiser choice.

In the stillness,

I’ll find my inner peace,

a sense of calm

that the world cannot release.

Through the trials,

I’ll discover my heart’s might,

and in the darkness,

I’ll find your loving light.
