Dear Friend

Updated: Jul 14, 2025

By Shivam Kumar

Oh! my dear friend ,

what were those days of childish play

for the sake of no clay.

How we lived together

like loving brothers.

How we fought together

like wild beasts.

Where have gone those jovial days of love and affection

with pure sensation.

Now things have awfully changedthe blooming flowers have withered away

the lively lives have turned the same.

Sometimes things go wrong between us

with rough arguments,

and we behave just as strangers

for long time.

But my dear friend you are always  residing in this small heart

until the body lives on Earth.
