Dead Life

Its like all hollow from inside,

There are ashes of the dead,

And left overs by the fed.

My body is a meal to many,

And hunger to others.

I am not a person anymore,

Just a toy to play in handy.

Some crave me like beast,

And some come to tender their heart.

I am distributed equally

In the platter of their feast,

But some still attack,

As if I am the bull’s eye to their dart!

They keep digging in the empty shell,

Not knowing everything was dead, long ago.

To crave the love, the hearts not there anymore,

Every feeling is like a visitor,

Which come to just let it go.

I am not complaining,

Because I chose this hell over earth,

For being paid after getting laid,

Is my need but not by birth.

I am living on this other planet,

Where humans are not around.

They try coming close but step aback.

They think we are alien,

With no spine and empty money bag.

My legs are always wide open,

Like a welcoming invitation to all,

But for beg and sympathy,

My hands are shut close.

Even if it means, I have to crawl.

The bright lights around,

Are to hide our broken inside.

The decorations are to celebrate

Our soul getting more away

As if it was never beside.

Seeing the faces, criticising us outside,

And satisfying itself inside,

Makes me bare my own body.

The lost noises, silences and roar

Are appealing for a grave if In store.
