Darkness
By Anju Kumari
Scared of putting my dreams here, what if they will haunt me here too?
All black and void, the rooms look too bigger, after the sunshine hides somewhere.
I too want to follow the rays away from the little heart-crushing darkness,
In the mist of the glory that once we called our garden has turned into the graveyard.
The flowers are now ashes, filled with the sinking smell of hell,
Playing around the rhythm of willow is all gone into the thin wind that once whispers the echoes of laughter.
All shedded, nothing left inside me, but I am not dead,
Dancing on the flower of the broken glasses, I have entered in a dusty, musty note of words.
A world full of fungus, all black n' brown, and a scenic view of imagination is tarnishing the empathy of that heart crying for some love,
The darkness is embracing me, hugged me tightly.
It is all fear, but not exactly the same when he left me in remorse,
Love is still waiting to embrace the fungus-filled heart, not black not brown but all colourful and enchanting.
Yes, this is the reason; writing you here will erase everything,
Only I will be there standing in the sunshine again following the scent of rays.
