When did love become so dark?

It was meant to be stark,

Does it have an evil twin?

Which feels like you've sinned

Was it the blinding haze

That hid this monster's real face

So charming & bloody harming

Who break hearts, just to have a taste

Making you suffer all alone

In a world of pain

Unable to move, breathe, or retreat

To what used to be a paradise

Enchanted in fairy tales

Like a beauty of lies

A creator of countless cries

And soul-crushing lives

Like any other drug

It also gives you a high

But why is it legal!?,even though

It's injurious to your mind, body, & soul

This dark love hides in a facade

Of something so mesmerizing & divine

Nobody realizes that we're forced

To live with this incurable disease...
