Dark and Light

When you go through life,

it offers both dark and light

not to make you blind,

but to help you find

your true kind.

You are in delight in the light

having a great pride inside,

bearing no pain but in vain.

But don’t be stark in the dark,

don’t get chocked in the lock,

never feel small in the shoal.

Life is short but it offers long dark and light.

And without dark there is no light.

In true sense they are inseparable,

Just as a road bifurcated into two paths

leading to the same fate.

The one who treats these two imposters just the same,

has found his true kind.
