Dandelions

As I take a deep breath

and blow on the dandelion

the furry fuzz of the flower

scatters, diffuses into the vastness

Few tiny furs float around

a little longer

like the delicate memories

not wanting to leave just yet

like the sweet lingering aftertaste

of the kiss

While some glide away quickly

riding on the wind

like your worries and hurries

desperate to find their landings

I watch all of them, disappearing, dispersing, distancing

into the ubiquity

This is me

watching them go

This is me

letting you go….
