Daddys Girl

By Janvi Sachdev

From thousand miles far,

When I was a little star,

A voice came into my ear,

To be someone's near.

It was no other than my daddy,

He loved me like nobody,

Slowly became the best buddy,

And to show the world he made me ready.

He taught me how to walk,

Gave the difference of whom to talk,

But the fast hands of clock,

Sent teenage at my doorstep to knock.

To make me strong,

He scolded me when I was wrong,

And to keep happiness among,

He worked all day long.

You will be always in my heart,

As u play the best daddy's part,

And by staying smart,

You never let us impart.

I can never pay back the love u gave,

It's the best feeling any daughter can have,

And your teachings which I save,

Will always keep me brave!!!

Happy Birthday Dad,

I hope you never get sad,

I'm sorry whenever I made u feel bad,

Through this poem I showed all the feelings I had.

      LOVE YOU DAD

                ❤️❤️
