D-DAY

A wish no one dare make, A gathering without a cake Contradicts life, yet worthless without it

A place most won’t dare to follow, Every day you stroll at the tip of its shadow But all end up there someday

The day people think of you, But cannot hear or touch you You are seen, yet will forever be longed for

The day of tears and sudden laughter For every minute of you from the beginning till end is remembered

Death-let it not be the day that life finally gets its due. And make every waking day be the perfect moment to say “I love you”
