Culture

By Kasheeka Gupta

The Mosaic of the Modern World

As our Culture weaves the Tapestries

the diversity as the paint brush

unifying both the worlds.

The modern aged broth

the smell of culture strong

the magic of the spices diverse

holding it together from centuries long

The bright blurs of modern life

the warm glow of ancestral cultures

the range of festive lights

softening even the coldest structures

Dēor as modern days

Treow as culture

one can’t live without the other

creating the Weorold together

The singing of the modern era

all with the cultural tunes

the distinct lyrics of life

blending melodies and fortunes

The excavated modern times

the rootings of cultures

deciphering the past that looms

from those precious gathered runes

And all those small priceless things

only show what’s the truth

that these modernized ways

are made for the cultures to stay

That the roots of the beginnings

is what makes you grow

no matter how good the changes seem

the roots are not to throw

The longer beams of present, work

and the shorter olds seem a waste

but change the view and see ahead

working together, a ladder is made.
