Crying Of Nature

By Ramkrishna Paul

Earth is, as if, a dumping ground ,

Life is getting dried up all around.

Greed freed roams like a beast,

Hunting each and every its best.

Rain from the serene sky

Like a bolt from the blue,

Tears from nature ‘s eyes

Getting dried in the skies.

Blood becomes cold and thin

Out of fear, shrinking to flow in

The vessels through heart to head

Letting all limbs becoming numb

Inert to activity through consciousness

Stirred after conscience .But alas!

Choking earth struggling for life

Life of nature plundered

To strangulation for

A republic of stagnation.
