Crossroads

Standing at the crossroads

The dilemma surrounds me.

Should I take a leap of faith?

Or trust my destiny?

Or should I go the other way,

Where the grass is green

And the sky is clear there,

But the air is mean.

Or should I climb the hill

And touch the sky

But the vultures will eat me up

And I don’t know why?

Or should I run towards the ocean

And embrace the 'deep'

But its darkness scares me

It will make me weep

Or should I run towards the forest ,

A labyrinth of trees ,

Where the sun is shy

And has eerie breeze

I still stand at the crossroads

The dilemma still surrounds me

Wondering (again) ,if I should I take a leap of faith?

Or just trust my destiny
