Crimson Scars
By Lakshmi Yasheca Sanka
Waiting for the time
When my dream comes true.
I don’t know if it’s
Any good for you.
When you try getting back,
You think I’m gonna accept
The person who left me
Unaddressed — uh, ah.
The poison you fed me
Was sharper than I imagined.
You wore kindness like a mask —
Beneath it, a heartless storm.
Your smile — a spell, a hypnotizer —
Drew me close,
And I fell,
Helpless in your trap.
Used. Discarded.
Shattered like a mirror left to crack
On cold, unforgiving stone.
You pretended like
You were in love.
All you did was
Stabbing my heart.
You never realized
How much pain it caused,
Cause you were a psychopath
Who had no heart.

Well done
Keep it up 😊
Super
This poem hits like truth spoken out loud — the pain, the awakening, the strength. It captures how someone can wear kindness like a mask while breaking one behind it. Beautifully written and painfully real.
