Cries of A Shattered Heart

Saw your true colours,

didn't realize I was that oblivious.

Now all I see is black and white

When I finally give in and let myself believe;

tiny pieces of broken glass shattered.

Try as you might to smooth it over,

but no longer the same, forever wary.

Am I allowed to cry?
