Corvus

Bite my flesh and taste my sinful blood,

Who do you say I am ?

Tell me now,

Before I can show you who I can become.

Saint Paul, won't you forgive me ?

I am a parable with no holy lesson,

I am a vessel for anger and passion,

I have built a castle of my shame.

The Sun weeps under me,

She has fed my bones and my soul,

Now I have grown cautious of my skin,

Is this my end or my beginning ?

The priest no longer listens to my confessions,

Come before me, you all,

And I dream of violence,

Bite my flesh, and savour my sinful blood.
