Conversations in my mind

Quick, run, time is limited there is so much to think about,

Until the sun sets in heaven, keep it a secret don’t think out loud.

Even if the sun sets before we want as time goes by,

Sing like the birds as they flock together in the sky.

Time is limited but one has so much to do,

Instantaneous seconds turn to a minute or two.

Oh universe, tell me your secrets, I want a deeper connection.

New insights answer thee yet trouble me with questions.

Teaspoon of ideas in the sea of knowledge,

Hosts creativity like swans swimming beside the foliage.

Our mind becomes unstable while being the King of our senses,

Understanding emotions, we use our actions as defenses.

Glass made of gold filled with water.

How is it optimistic or pessimistic?

That’s not for us to ponder.

So where does my life fit in nature’s elaborate epic?

Even though I am older, I am younger than the stars above

Peace accompanies these thoughts like the freedom of the white dove.

Ideas strike me like thunder, my mind asks for a reaction.

Perhaps it is time to leave things to fate and just take action.

Hearing whispers of the leaders from the past,

Accompanying joy, my mind concluded at last.

No one will ever know my feelings deep inside

Yet my pen feels like writing today, let the marks of ink decide.
