Contribution of technology in education

This is 21st century, and now technology had become a crucial part in our life. Not only in a particular field .technology has made our work easier and intreseting.in these days there is no person without a smart phone or television set in their home. Our development without technology is very difficult. technology is increasing day by day .

from infant to an old person technology had made many changes in our lives.it had shown its good and bad impacts on us in our day to day lives .in the same way, technology also marked its mark in the field of educational sector too .let’s take a look on them.

Technology in educational field

Nowadays, children are showing interest in learning education through different educational platforms available on internet. Technology made education available easily even by sitting in any corner of the world .easy access to internet is helping children to learn in more and better ways .in olden days getting good marks was to only who study hard but now technology has given us the golden opportunity to educate ourselves from various educational platforms . even the rural area are utilizing this opportunity. This method had increased the demand for many educational platforms and websites .after pandemic or before pandemic ,technology had changed the method of learning .by this students can get easy access to use internet and learn quickly .this will save both their time and energy.

Keeping aside its uses technology has both advantages and disadvantages too

Advantages of technology in education.

*students can improve their technical skills.

*students can learn more information.

*students can gain lots of knowledge by reading e-books in the internet.

*parents can get in touch with the teachers in order to track their child’s academic progress by making calls and messages.

Disadvantages of technology in education

*the unnecessary information provided on social media can distract the child’s mind from studies.

*students may spend more time with gadgets instead of spending time with their parents.

*these distractions may lead to procrastination.

*these gadgets addiction may make a student’s mind turn into alone condition.

*lack of interaction with people increases.

*increased use of gadgets like mobiles, laptops, computers, Etc. can cause eye problems in children.

There are many positive and negative impacts from usage of technology. But technology serves us both of them .it is our responsibility to use it wisely .the person who utilizes technology in a proper manner gets successful in their work. The person who does not utilize technology in a proper manner gets negative impacts as a result of their bad addictions. Students should be given access to use internet only when in need under parents guidance .overuse of technology may cause many mental health issues to take care of their child.
