Concrete

The screams from within, diminish into vain.

I feel pity for the concrete outside.

All my efforts drain,

As rules abide.

Oh you poor imbecile,

You don't understand.

When you are standing still,

You lose every strand.

There is a drain of emotions,

Rushing through my side.

What restrains you from the motion,

Even when I tried.

You don't hold an inkling of the world outside,

Yet you blare off somehow.

You don't how tough it was when everyday I cried,

Just standing up to bow.
