Competetive Exams Takes Up Lives

She was scared, scared like anything new she did she never believed if she could

She was a girl with wings, the girl who always wanted to conquer the world.

But that one failure just took her away from everything, she wanted & she could achieve.

She had that confidence in herself more than anything in the world

She wanted it always more than anything in the world,

She went in all, but soon when the time was coming closure to the showdown, she fell sick

That sickness somewhere indicated her, maybe she will not be able to achieve it,

But still like always that little hope pushed her always,

Many believed in her that she will do it, because that’s how she was acing it all,

She studied studied & studied but that’s she could do,

Before that day her father told her, be fearless, believe in youself, you will get it for you have worked

so hard,

She just listened & didn’t utter a single word, went back to her room,

Summarising all she could before her day, 6 th may

She went in gave it all she had, performed to her best,

She already had calculated her marks & she knew her result,

& when the result day was it, she closed herself in that room,

She realized herself shattering into pieces like never before,

She had lost herself, that bright girl, she had lost all of it,

Belonging to the general category took away her chances,

Is the reservation system really valuable ??, ohh she asked,

& wished herself to be born maybe one amongst them,

Thoughts grabbed her always, & she could not grow,

Following 2 years also she prepped but she knew now she had lost it in herself,

She prepped telling no one, because failure that was never she faced she could not take it anymore,

Two years till now, she asks Bhagwaanji why, why did he he do like this to her, why ??

She has not received her answer, & 3 years down the lane is still lost away from the world.

“I don’t feel like living anymore”, that’s what she had since then on her mind.

Lost, scared & timid that’s what competitive exams gifted her with,

Daily she tries to get fly, but she just can’t anymore

But like everyone says,” jo hota hai achche ke liye hota hai “

That’s what she believes '& with a smiles lives up…
