I sat all alone,
Looking at an empty sky!
The inert sky;
A cloudless dusk
And a sublime light-
From that far horizon!
These images reflect
My uneasy mind-
A hopeless fusion
Of present and past!
A late request
Mounted up like
A receding tide
Washing away my
Peace of mind!
My helplessness or
An unintentional rejection
Would have caused
A dark hollow
In someone's heart!
But, there is
No more space for
Any further accommodation
As a single man
Has already occupied
Whole of my heart!
Some injuries
Are inevitable,
Like the drooping dusk.
It has its own
Beauty and Pain!
Thus, it mellows
To the tender light
Far in the horizon!
