Classroom Crimes

My mind wanders,

Though I don’t consent,

To places the lectures ,

Will never go or have went .

It’s the way he talk maybe,

Or the way he stares,

But his classes are always lazy,

Not exactly a bad teacher, rather one who doesn’t care.

It’s as though he’s talking to himself,

He asks questions and answers them all on his own,

Where’s the interaction we were promised?

He doesn’t feel like a teacher, rather a carefree clone .

I’m waiting for the bell to ring,

This class feels more like prison time,

But the moment that he leaves,

Another comes in to resume the crime.
