Class Reunion

By Airy Magic

To my most talkative friend -Mind.

I know you always wanted to keep me safe.

Every time there was a question,

You rushed first to find the answers..for I was your fav.

You were swift, never did you rest.

Whenever my eyes saw something new,

You went running to get a few labels too.

Don’t you get tired… phew!

It’s fine if I feel happy without naming the new.

Every time I wanted to experience,

You came with your caution list.

You reminded me how I once had a fall,

And narrated the whole story.. never in a gist.

I know you only wanted to be seen,

But rarely has being loud worked.

For once, let other friends (heart) speak..

They get shadowed by your freaks.

You’re loved the way you are,

I want you to relax and be calm.

Shall we run, shout, and

Have fun like we did in the games class?

The new teacher is all soul..

Let’s relax in her class.

She knows us all and helps us work in her glow.

In her light, even silence finds its flow.
