Charted Skies of Lovers' Poetry

Eyelashes flutter like a phantom hummingbird’s wings, sending flushes of golden dust rippling, like silken threads weaving through the midnight tapestry of spacetime

Fingers lilting like the slurs of a dulcet ballad, lovelorn sighs burn like flares that trail the rarest of comets, tracing halos of serendipity along the lonesome cry of a dark skyline

Fated constellations blooming unto the maroon twilight of a solitary frame, cages of bone aglow with the heat of a spark, for suns are mere stars in their youthful prime

Hearts exploding in nebulous rays, skin adorned with stanzas of forgotten Lovers’ poetry, cursive calligraphy of enchantments ink lone souls in the twinkling starlight
