Celestial Friendship

Once Sun and Moon were friends,

But their friendship came to an end.

They used to laugh and enjoy together,

Which made other stars’ jealousy gather.

Earth wanted moon to be with her,

But disliked sun, as she was hard to bear.

Stars’ joined hands with Earth,

To ruin the beautiful bond that was so much worth.

Stars’ efforts to blind Sun’s morality completed successfully,

And Earth poisoned Moon’s ears with hatred.

Now misunderstanding arose between them gradually,

As they both thought each other to be wicked.

Finally, Sun went with stars,

And Moon came with Earth.

But they didn’t end their war,

Paving way to grudges’ birth.

Every solar eclipse their feud continues,

Giving rise to new issues.

But somewhere their heart knows,

One day they would reincarnate their friendship vows.
