Caste Has Outcasted Us

The caste has outcasted us,

And we were ousted from our romance.

Though they struck our disposition,

Never will we flounder in despondent fire.

The lockdown of a satirical nation in segregated garbage,

Escalates their creed and pride like a festering ailment.

A coterie milks a fallacious snake,

Trying to cure leprous horrors from their barbed veins.

An ancient storm spins the swing in its own wild undulation,

Letting philosophies tangle in their open distortions.

The chain they claimed would bind this country squeaks relentlessly—

Rust devours their lineage,

While a new age of love is being born.

Never will emotion divide us.

Like an extinct race rescued by a single pair,

Our course in this venomous atmosphere

Will set fire to their comet—

While we aim for each other’s hearts.
