Canvas Of My Life

When I look upon the canvas of my life,

So much of me has been coloured by you.

So many colours streaked across my sky,

Brilliant pinks and purples, in every imaginable hue.

I walk a little taller now,

I have a swagger in my step.

I’ve found some faith inside me now

Into the abyss I’ve leapt.

Within myself I’ve found some grit,

And although at times I am unsure.

I seek to find my hidden worth,

That only comes when my intentions are pure.

I know not where Life will take me,

For I have no crystal ball.

But this fact I know to be forever true

I will NEVER again be made small.
