In the tender dusk, I dwell afront the screen's light

Memories captured in pixels, of joy and of

plight

As I scroll through the gallery, I catch glimpses of days goneby

A lump in my throat for a second, trailed by a twinkle in the eye

A face beams through the screen, sitting across the candle light

The golden glimmer of romance, is now a relic lost in time

Glimpses of lost love, the screenshots of furious betrayal

I feared drowning in flashbacks, but now I am free to prevail

The loss of a friend layed quietly, nestled among countless snapshots

A four-legged bright-eyed being, breathed sparsely as his body rots

I recorded these moments of gloom, a haunting archive now

For those clips could never capture, the bliss that he did endow

A token of failure awaited, straining my eyes with the white backdrop

Alphabets measuring my aptitude, drained my spirit, left me in shock

I held onto the transcript, as a reminder of the deep sorrow

One that shattered a dream, but offered me strength to borrow

Maneuvering through the tapestry of life, I ached on certain parts

Fragments of defeat and sorrow, today, I seek to erase from my heart

Yet in the hindsight, I have gratitude for what has been

For every loss I've endured has sown seeds for a lush green tree within
