Call from the void

A getaway from life is what I seek,

Whispers of all those lives underneath.

A dreamer lost in the moss of expectations,

I floated over the lingering speculations.

Walking with deceiving smiles is where I shine;

Complicated feelings are the ones I hide.

I lost my true self a while ago,

While navigating through the lifeless meadow.

Strangled, time and time again,

By the besieging doubts and the torturing pain.

Facing another failure at life,

I embed myself in a web of lies.

Punching a hole within my heart,

I couldn't help but fall apart.

Overlooking the corpse of dreams,

I jump over the tunneling cliff.

Wandering helplessly through the dark,

I finally trace a path for my heart.

While mystics of life twirl around,

I calibrate through my feeble wounds.

A frail contemplation races through my heart,

As I finally get ahold of the start.

Streaming through the endless void,

I reflect upon my uncharted flight.

Finally, the jigsaws intertwine,

Lost in the echoes of space and time,

Painting a picture so deep and wide,

Which reflects upon the destiny of mine.

Arriving at my destination at last,

I encompass the twinkling stars.
