Bayatjelana abangoma, bayatjelana.

Ziyatjelana izangoma, ziyatjelana.

Akwasa! Latjhinga ilanga!

Ngimi loyo umthonjana osehlana komlambo;

Umthombo kawuselwa.

Ngimi loyo undlela kayikhanjwa.

Ngimi loyo untaba kayikhwelwa.

Abathi bayangazaba sengibarhedlule

Bakhulunyiswa kukungangazi

Angaziwa angibhenywa angijwayeleki

Wazi mina soze usaziwa

Wangibhema soze usabhema

Nakukungijwayela khona khohlwa.

Nijabula ningilinge nginizwele

Nidlale ngami ngingadlali

Dlala dlala lifana lebusika nehlobo

Dlala dlala lifana lebusuku nemini

Isikhathi sokudlala anginaso

Nakuziinhloni anginazo?

Nangebhande lomkhwekazi ngiyathekeleza.

Nanitjhoko nithi ayaphi amakhosi amadala?

Bayaphi aboMrhabuli?

Bayaphi aboMagodongo?
