BURNT HUMANITY

It's the pain that stops me thinking

It's the cries that won't stop ringing

It's the night that don't stop ending

It's the fire in the pyre that's still burning.

And the air around is damp with the smell

Of the tender flesh of a girl who fell

In the grasp of demons of this mighty hell

Who burnt her down and threw her ashes in the deepest well.

All the memories and the dignity

Of a child who just crossed her puberty

Is now a matter of distant memory

In the minds of her loving family.

The men of god who rule this land

With pride and power and a cruel hand

March in hundreds with joyous band

O'er the blood-soaked wet soft sand.

They sleep today in the darkest night

They rest quiet proving the wrongs as right

They don't fear the people's fight

They sleep under the dark moon is red and bright.

Oh this pain ain't let me sleep

It's like me that thousands weep

And it's time that our voices should sweep

All the dust and blood that made this valley so deep.

Come from your distant homes

Come with might to break the palace dome

Come in many to claim our lands

From the grasp of a few but cruellest hands.

Come you all to set us free

From the hold of the false god's brutality

To end the rule of this ruthless fraternity

Come let us fight for a new day of glorious humanity.
