Burnout or breakdown

The time when I felt a little lonelier than before. The nights get longer, and I get to suffer more. I feel like being chained in a dark dungeon With the only source of hope being the light beaming through the crevices on the walls. That's me scrolling through Instagram, Hoping to find something, hoping to find someone to talk to and distract myself from me. Sometimes I couldn't bear myself, Thoughts get too heavy to hold in my mind.

That's when I need someone, and I pick up my phone, Scroll through my contacts a couple of times. A..B..C..up up up up.. Y..# Nope, I couldn't call even a single number. Then I remember the mystical mythical creatures of my life, my "friends". I try calling them, *tring tring, tring tring, tring... tring...*, My hope fades away, as the ring continues. Nope, they didn't pick up either. My darling emotionally unavailable friends might be obviously busy doing something very important. My friends judge me to be weakling for posting emotional poems on Instagram. My friends assure me of being there for me when I need them the most. My friends whom I trusted little more than I trusted myself,

whom I loved, a little more than I love myself. Always tend to disappoint me. Anyways I got a few hours of shut-eye and woke in a new morning feeling the same. Sun shining, birds chirping, and people laughing and I feel like the weakest player in this game. I see the white, bright, light glare through the gaps of the curtains and blind. But it doesn't vanquish the darkness in my mind. Wake up, do your chores, go to work, come back, and the night repeats itself.
