Buds

Buds bloom, they take time,

For the right path, they take some care,

The journey might be sour as a lime,

Once they know, sweet fruits they bear.

At times, life lets us down,

Nevertheless, they shall learn to grow,

As they guide, we wear a crown,

And alas! We look at them, and bow!

Like tender leaves that seek the light,

They sway through every storm they meet,

With love to lead and hope held tight,

Their dreams shall make their lives complete.

Let patience be the soil they know,

Let kindness be the rain above,

For every bud is bound to grow,

When nurtured with enduring love.

For every blossom starts so small,

Yet reaches for the skies above,

With patient hearts, they'll stand up tall,

A garden grown through endless love.

My thought and inspiration to write this poem:- Meaning of the poem “BUDS”:

The thought process behind my poem creation starts from my own journey.

I’ve seen, many teenagers In my surroundings, with lack of correct guidance; and how they aren’t able to notice, when their behaviour suddenly changes and they start doing wrong; such as Distraction from Studies or Deflection from Real world socialization, like, Having fun with Friends outside in a Healthy environment, and, Physically playing outside for Athleticism and Positive Development of Body.

Thus, the word, “BUDS” came into my mind, reflecting growing teenagers in a Healthy environment, with right Guidance, for their Brighter and Successful Future to endeavour a Happy Quality, Valuable and Purposeful life.

In Science, I studied about plants and got a deep thought on how a plant's journey begins and eventually blossoms to its fullest; where I found myself (and other growing teenagers, such as my friends and cousins) exactly reflecting the same. When we sow a tiny seed into the soil, small leaves emerge, and gradually, it transforms into a beautiful plant. Similarly, through moral science and my parents' guidance, I understood how important it is to inculcate moral values in my life—just as a plant needs good nutrition like sunlight, water, and fertilizer, along with care such as trimming leaves and removing insects, to grow to its best. In the same way, we teenagers seek good care and the right guidance to lead us on the right path in life.
