Broken Is Beautiful

By Navneet Yadav

Beautiful broken things;

Broken is a shooting star;

It’s beautiful and rare;

mesmerising, the

Perfection I’ll spare.

Beauty is also in a scar,

Light seeps in through the cracks in the wall.

Leaves and petals in autumn,

wither and fall.

The rose thorns,

prickly with pride.

The Ruins;

so rich,

broken yet majistic.

Colors most vivid in the Impressions of the brush’s broken stroke

A frog’s song in its broken croak.

It’s takes so much life in breaking,

A little ray to start living.

Sunlight gets us to waking;

A starry night gets us wondering and dreaming.

The guiding star,

gets us sailing

a torch for trailblazing

A single match can bury the darkness

The fiery reds take us through the night.

Hope, pulls us out, a hand in sight.

We are all broken ...

That's how the light gets in.

This is really lovely. It feels reflective without being heavy, and the central idea brokenness as a doorway for light comes through clearly and consistently.

The final line is powerful and familiar in the best way. It feels like a thesis statement that everything before has earned.

Great poem written by you ,who notices the world closely and sees meaning in small fractures rather than perfection. It’s hopeful without being naïve, and that balance is hard to pull off.. Well 👍🏻 done
