Broken Heart, Boundless Love

O heart, in pieces, shattered,

Splintered like glass, glinting in the moon’s pallor.

A soul wanders these endless nights, seeking, searching,

For the one loved but never held.

How did that heart slip from grasp, O tender one?

Was it in the soft murmur of whispered promises?

In the glance that lingered just a moment too long?

Or in the silence that spoke louder than words?

Lost in the labyrinth of unspoken desires,

Tracing the echoes of laughter.

The shadow of a smile, fleeting as the dusk,

A phantom that haunts every waking hour.

Uncertain future, veiled in mist,

What secrets do you keep from this seeker?

Will you grant the grace of a touch,

Or will this soul forever wander, forlorn, adrift?

Yet, for love, mountains would be scaled,

Stars traversed, seas explored,

Anything, everything, to feel that warmth,

To be wrapped in the embrace of love unbound.

O destiny, hear this plea,

Bend to the will of this seeker,

Let fate be kind and guide love to this yearning heart,

May it find its lost piece, in the sanctuary of tender arms.
