Born From Strom

By Haransh Kaur

The calm you see

The carefree me

Result of storm

Creative transform

Tears in my eyes

Whole night it cries

Nobody bothered

And no one honoured

I held my hand

Respect I demand

Learnt this lesson

Let go of my aggregation

Built from ache

But I do not break

Grew from pain

But chose not to blame

Now look at me

It's the light you see

The face that smiles

And the heart covers miles
