What if I met his eyes
And the truth comes out!?
The ‘Bluebird’ that is reborn,
In the nest that was burning atop
Will this be my phoenix?
What is this fear?
That makes me smile more than before,
I may fly again with older feathers,
Hopeful to trade them for new ones
What if I met his eyes
And I actually become the dream!?
What is this present??
Which feels like this has been my past always,
And I will sing with a voice for the future!
What if I met his eyes
And I actually saw myself!?
In a better plane, like he sees my smile;
Isn't it scary to see the world,
All in a balance of good and best!
Though I say glass half full,
And he means glass half empty!!
What if I met his eyes
And I see the colors of his twinkle?!!
Lots of my words are forcing themselves out,
For conversations that were dreamt of!
Eyes welling up with emotions,
That were put on 'Do not Disturb'!!
What if I met his eyes
And I meet this new person in my mirror?!
Realise that it's time,
To shed my colourful flowers
And pave way for the new fruits

Yes. It's the time for you to shed colourful flowers and pave way for the new fruits. All the Best.
Excellent!

Beautiful poem Keethana, I am sure the meaning and emotions are lot more than words in the poem. I am happy your expressing your feelings in form of poem. Good work and keep it up Keertana
