Bloom Within

No one ever told me why,

Life’s sweet fruits would one day die.

I learned it all through wounds that bled,

And like autumn leaves, my heart has shed.

Yet deep inside, those wounds remain,

Silent whispers of hidden pain.

Like streams that flow to oceans wide,

My hurt has washed away, but never dried.

Why was I born, what did I lack?

Was I too weak to fight life’s attack?

These questions weighed upon my mind,

Until one day, I left them behind.

For I am enough, I always was—

No need for others’ hollow applause.

The fault was never mine to bear,

I’m capable, beyond compare.

I closed my ears to their cruel lies,

And opened them to clearer skies.

Now healed, I see what lies within—

A strength that rises from where I’ve been.

I let the dark invade my soul,

But now, I’ve found my heart’s control.

I shut it out, where it belongs,

And in the quiet, I’ve grown strong.

With every petal, I unfurl,

I step into my truest world.

For strength is knowing I’m complete—

No need to bow, no need to compete.

In life’s vast garden, I will rise,

A bloom that reaches toward the skies.

A testament to all I’ve been—

A flower that will bloom within.
