Blood Shoes

I can’t say,

I can’t neither say that I loved when you stepped on my heart,

Thrashing it with your feet,

Nor can I say that I hate it;

Because you never thrash it until it ran out of blood,

You keep some of the blood behind for me to keep going,

And that tiny flicker of hope kept on making me fall for you;

Even though my heart still recognised the dirt of your shoes.
