Blinded

Life is like potholes, they grow with time unless you keep a check on them. Trying hard to fill the empty voids with all the unwanted accessories while forgetting that the only way to seal it is by an abundance of joy and not the drama that follows. The more you run behind the materialistic and the mundane things, the faster will the potholes grow. Waking up one day realizing you're not standing in the pothole anymore, you're already deep down into an abyss. Peering at the sky searching for a ray of hope that might pull you out. But without putting in effort and blindly waiting for someone to come to the rescue, you'd be dragged down deeper into the darkness.

Don't be dependent. Instead of waiting on someone to be the hope, be your own Ray of Sunshine that glimmers over your aura. Fill yourself with unending love for yourself and also for everyone else. This will be the boost of confidence that will help you overcome any obstacles that you will encounter in the darkness of this unpredictable abyss of the darker side of life.

There is also a brighter side to the coin but never mistake it to be everlasting. Keep in mind that this darkness that you encounter in every nook and corner of your life is not your enemy, but rather a learning curve that life isn't always as easy and extravagant as how you want it to be. Understand your situations, learn from your mistakes, get back up from your failures, hone your passion into skill, be true to yourself and you'll illuminate the abyss that dwells in the darkness of your uncanny fears.
