Blessing in Disguise

From strangers to a brother from another mother, from breaking the ice to the keeper of my secrets. Protective, caring, daring, loquacious but entertaining. A self made person, capable enough to handle all adverse situations, single handedly, with that beaming contagious smile. An idol in the past, a fan in the present and what not in the future. At moments when life came to a standstill, things around went haywire, the soothing words were a source of strength and support.

The inner demons were awakened, the willpower to fight against any odds and the courage to face all obstacles was instilled. This lockdown has given a brother, a fatherly figure, a forever friend, a well wisher, a mentor and most importantly, a person, who is truly one of a kind. Thanks won’t suffice for all that I owe to you. Blessed to have you as a part of my life.
