Beyond the Rainbow : A Call for Inclusion

In a world painted in black and white,

There exist hues, hidden, out of sight.

Hijras, bearers of history’s untold tales,

Sailing through society’s cold and life’s harshest gales.

In shadows and light, they stand, bold yet unseen,

Behind smiles wide, lies a world, keen on routine.

Hijras, with hearts vast as oceans deep,

Carry tales of sorrow, in silence they weep.

Beneath the smiles, a silent war rages,

A battle for acceptance, through the ages.

Bold in appearance, yet within, a silent plea,

For a world that sees beyond what it wants to see.

With dreams woven in colors, bright and bold,

They navigate a society, cold and often uncontrolled.

Seeking acceptance, love, a hand to hold,

Their stories of courage, in whispers, told.

Born into a world, quick to judge, slow to understand,

They dance in the sun, yet walk on shifting sand.

Faces painted with joy, spirits wrapped in resilience,

Each day a battle, each step a dance of defiance.

In their eyes, the sparkle of a thousand fights,

Against the darkness, they rise, reaching new heights.

Embracing their truth, in a world that often forgets,

The beauty of being different, in sunsets and sunrises it sets.

With hearts that beat a rhythm so pure,

Their love, their pain, endure.

Not just seekers of ephemeral blessings,

But souls deserving of all life’s caressing.

Through streets they walk, heads held high,

Beneath the gaze of an indifferent sky.

Yet, in their eyes, a resilient light persists,

A hope that love, through the fog, insists.

Hijras, not just a word, but a saga of survival,

A journey of identity, self-love, and revival.

Behind the bold appearance and smiles wide,

Lies a universe of emotions, swirling inside.

Let’s weave a tapestry, rich and diverse,

Where every thread’s story can intersperse.

Hijras, not merely shadows at dawn,

But a part of our mosaic, beautifully drawn.

For they are us, and we are them,

In every heartbeat, a shared anthem.

Let’s dismantle the chains of outdated belief,

In acceptance, we’ll find our collective relief.

No longer unseen, but recognized,

In every heart, warmly empathized.

For in unity, we find our strength,

Embracing all hues, across every human length.

So let’s stand together, under the sun,

Acknowledging the battles, fought and won.

Hijras, a vibrant part of our human race,

In our hearts, let’s give them a rightful place.

May we learn to see, beyond the surface, so shallow,

In their struggles and joys, may we truly wallow.

For in their tales, there’s wisdom, love, and light,

A reminder of the human spirit, so incredibly bright.

As these verses unfold, let’s pause and reflect,

On our views and actions, their effect.

Embrace Hijras, not as others, but kin,

In our hearts, let inclusivity begin.

Take a step, reach out,

Understand, and see.

Together, we can foster,

A world where everyone is free.
