Beneath My Bed offers a relevant narrative to the ones who love journaling and cherish secret diaries. Structured like a letter, it beautifully captures the emotions surrounding the art of diary writing, reflecting intimacy, secrecy and self-expression.

Hey Amigo,

How have you been so long

inside some corner of my closet?

It's time to come to light,

listen and hide, before anyone could find.

You're unhearing, but sentient,

so I press on you.

You make me pour out until I spill them all,

and emptied of upsetting concerns.

When I put my hands on you, l'm blithe.

And when finished, I breathe out.

Sometimes I make you cry, intimating with you,

sometimes I make you shy.

Under my pillow or beneath my bed at times.

I mess with my memory and can't wait till dawn.

So, I’ll call you out in the middle of night, discreetly,

to write down something that comes to mind.

You don't frustrate like people do

patiently listen to,

even my wordy, dopey, loopy tales.

Oops, there's a knock at the door!

Later, on another rainy day

to my fantasies outpour.
