Being a loser never felt better

Original Submission by Mariyam Shirolkar

Being a loser never felt better

Life’s favourite loser,

God’s own cardinal sinner,

A blind believer

Trying to win the game of life;

Against all odds.

Yet,

The will to win diminishes;

As the will of my depressed existence augments.

This morbidly marcid tenacity,

A handicap of perspicacity;

The Paralysis of faith

And a body immensely drained.

A morally punctured soul

And perforated fecundity;

Bringing to light my anatomically numb crimson,

Whilst covering the veils of my pink walnut’s darkness…

I keep losing:

As an opprobrium to my withered demise.

But,

How can one win?

When this entire bloody timeline is rigged.

Indeed,

I am life’s favourite loser,

God’s own cardinal sinner,

A blind believer,

Trying to win the game of life

Against all odds.
