Begin Again

I thought I reached the dead end with nothing left to explore...

With familiar places now estranged and no one left to truly call my own.

So I set out to fill the void, that emptiness with something more...

Before I set out to explore the world in search, I explored myself within my core.

She retained the fire within her soul, even though the world had gone cold as hell...

Fear visited her so many times, that now unafraid she began living life on the edge.

And what I found left me stunned and more than just amazed...

I found a girl with a warrior soul, relentlessly through storms with a smile she’d brave.

She made a difference in the world and each one whose life she touched...

Of all the materialistic and temporary desires, she blissfully kept herself above.

So how could someone so unconditional and giving for her own self not be enough?

That night I had a talk with her, that innocent girl hiding within my soul...

Through all the hardships of life, she just needed to be reminded that on her own, she is

beautifully whole.
