 It is probably too late

 My Dear, believe the soldier at our door

 Right now, you would be shedding tears

 But I left peacefully, no struggle

 How could I not be at peace, for I was thinking of you

 My Darling, you must listen

 I remember naught but kind eyes and your smile

 Glistening hearts while midnight strolls

 Your rosy cheeks during winterfell

 Dearest, my soul tells stories to those who listen

 Of moments I cherished at my final breath

 As you described me, I was a gentleman

 I stood tall, and smiled, as I shook hands with Death

 My Love, standing at that door

 I cannot begin imagining what you feel

 I had promised I would return to you

 A promise I have failed to keep

 My Angel, do not feel alone

 As your read the letter, I am right here beside you

 Holding your hand, wiping your tears

 I am with you, I am yours, forever and true

 My Wife, know that I miss you

 I miss all of the sunshine you brought in with you

 You are my diamond, a jewel above all

 I pray everyday, that our daughter grows up to be just like you.'
