I sit here with flowing tears…

Thinking about all those fears…

All the pain I had to endure…

The struggle to feel secure…

All those unheard numerous fights…

And countless frightened nights…

All the thoughts of giving up…

Hoping someone would pull me up…

All those numbed days…

And locked in room stays…

I began to heal,

And once again I was ready to feel,

Feel the warmth and comfort,

And was ready to do a lot,

Never wondering to look back,

I moved forward paving my own track!
