When the world is against you, be still O soul!
When sickness prevails you, be still O soul!
When the sun scorches you, be still O soul!
When the wind shakes your tent, be still O soul!
When friends become foes, be still O soul!
When tomorrow is not assured, be still O soul!
When wage is not payed for your toil and when all you do be spoil'd, be still O soul!
There's nothing that you brought and nothing that you will take, live your life whole!
